About Feyi Agbaje

I was born in Lagos, Nigeria then moved to Canada to study Engineering at Waterloo. I started my tech career as a helpdesk intern, where I realized I liked talking to people, and solving customer problems. As a Front End Developer and UX Designer (now referred to as Design Engineer), I learned how to create repeatable frameworks to speed up implementations for clients across various sectors. Then at Autodesk, I designed and shipped features for Academy-award winning software (Maya & Bifrost) trusted by the best 3D artists in the world. I learned about what made them tick, what was important to them and how to enhance their creativity. Most recently, I pursued an MBA to explore my interests in finance and business. I picked IESE because I wanted a truly global experience, during which I was fortunate enough to spend a semester at CEIBS in Shanghai. Other side quests include starting a food business (Avant-Grub) which I eventually shuttered due to COVID and the realization of just how low the margins are for food businesses. Currently based in the United States.
